LicenseWin Refund Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-26

Operator: Golden Gate Realty and Finance Inc. ("GGRF" or "we"), operating the LicenseWin platform.

Refund requests: `[email protected]`

This Refund Policy applies to all courses purchased through `https://licensewin.com`. It is incorporated by reference into the Enrollment Agreement; in case of conflict between this Policy and the Enrollment Agreement, this Policy controls.

---

1. Right to Cancel (Full Refund)

You may cancel your enrollment and receive a full refund of tuition paid if you submit a written cancellation notice to `[email protected]` on or before the earlier of:

(a) the seventh (7th) calendar day after the date of your Enrollment Agreement (counting the day after enrollment as day one); OR

(b) the time of SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION, defined as the point at which you have either:

whichever occurs first.

The third-party proctoring fee, if separately incurred, is paid by you directly to the proctoring vendor and is not refundable by GGRF.

---

2. Pro-Rata Refund (After Day 7, Before Final Exam)

If you cancel after the §1 cancellation window but before attempting the final examination, you are entitled to a pro-rata refund calculated as follows:

> Refund = (Tuition paid) × (1 − Percentage of course video content completed) − Administrative fee

The "Percentage of course video content completed" is rounded to the nearest whole percent and is taken from the LMS as of the date of your written refund request. The administrative fee is a flat amount not to exceed One Hundred Dollars (US$100.00) to cover processing.

Example. You paid $1,200 tuition. You have completed 35% of the course video content. You submit a written refund request before attempting the final exam.

> Refund = $1,200 × (1 − 0.35) − $100 = $1,200 × 0.65 − $100 = $780 − $100 = $680

---

3. No Refund After Final Exam Attempt

Once you have attempted the final examination (whether or not you pass), no refund of tuition is available. "Attempted" means you have begun the proctored exam session, regardless of whether you submit answers, complete the session, or pass.

---

4. Course Bundles

If you enrolled in a multi-course bundle, the refund calculation under §1 or §2 is applied to the bundle as a whole, using the aggregate runtime across the bundled courses. If you have completed and attempted the final exam in any course within the bundle, no further refund is available, even for courses within the bundle you have not started.

---

5. Optional Add-Ons

Optional add-on services (such as advanced coaching, career mentorship, or premium support packages) are sold separately and are governed by the refund terms presented at the time of their purchase. They are not part of the DRE statutory pre-license program and not subject to this Policy unless expressly stated.

---

---

(c) file a complaint with the California Department of Real Estate, the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education, the California Department of Consumer Affairs, or any other applicable regulator. Nothing in this Policy waives your right to seek any non-waivable statutory remedy.

---

10. Special Circumstances

We may, in our sole discretion and on a case-by-case basis, grant refunds outside the windows described above for special circumstances (e.g., serious illness or military deployment documented with reasonable supporting materials).
